4.5.1.2 Shroud and sealing checks.
4.5.1.2.1 Sealing check. To determine conformance to 3.4.1.1 and 3.4.1.2 prior to and after fording operations, the vehicle shall be checked for leakage of water into crew compartment and the leaking or lubricants.
4.5.l.3 Hatch seal tests. To determine conformance to 3.4.1.3, the driver, loader, and commander hatches shall be closed and locked, and a spray of water directed on each hatch for a period of 3 minutes. All hatches shall be checked for leakage.
