3.4.4.3 Heater fuel feed. With either of the fuel system pumps and the heater pump operating, the vehicle fuel system shall produce a minimum pressure of 7 psi at the outlet of the heater pump line.
3.4.5 Ventilation system. The ventilation system shall prevent harmful accumulation of Carbon Monoxide (CO) in the occupied areas of the vehicle. The concentrations of CO shall not exceed the percentage levels indicated below throughout time periods specified.

3.4.6 Controls. When installed in accordance with applicable drawings, all electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic controls shall operate without malfunction throughout all ranges of operation and under all vehicle operating controls.
3.4.7 Adjustment mechanisms. When installed and adjusted in accordance with applicable drawings, all adjustment mechanisms shall function properly and maintain adjustment settings during all vehicle operating conditions.
3.4.7.1 Driver hatch and driver escape hatch. The force required to breakaway and slide the driver hatch cover across the opening shall not exceed 30 pounds force at the handle. The force required to lock the drive hatch cover in the closed position shall not exceed 75 pounds at the end of the locking level. The driver escape hatch shall seal out water and dirt. The force required to operate the handle to release the driver escape hatch shall be 30 pounds pull at a point
1/2 inch from the end of the handle. Hatch shall fall away without effort when released.
3.4.7.2 Battery access door. The latch that holds door closed shall be free from paint and function properly. The force required to open latch shall not exceed 15 pounds sliding pressure.
3.4.8 Seating. All seat sliding parts and operating contact surfaces shall be free from
paint.
3.4.8.1 Driver's seat. With driver in seated position, the force required to actuate the fore
and aft seat adjustment lever shall not exceed 12 pounds at the end of the lever. With the driver seat vacated, the force required to actuate the seat vertical adjustment lever shall not exceed
14 pounds at the end of the lever. The force required to trip the seat dumping lever shall not
exceed 14 pounds at the end of the lever. The driver seat shall move forward, backward, and vertically when the appropriate levels are actuated. In the lowest position, restriction of the fore and aft movement of the seat is permissable.
